QUESTION
04 1200 r .Have made small mods to engine.screamin eagle pipes , jetted carb 45 pilot jet 180 main ,drilled cv slide ,runs well much smoother plugs right on . but an occasional burp in carb while blipping throttle on downshifting drives me nuts.Oh also upgraded air box. metering needle was at 3rd notch went to 4th down seems slightly better.IDEAS getting long but also bike very twitchy over 70 mph .My first Harley bare with me Many Thanks, Paul

So Paul, what's the question????? Dont blip the throttle on downshifts and it is less likely to pop through the carb, if that's what yer wonderin. I am not sure where this practice started and why people feel the need to blip the throttle at a stop (back in the day you had to blip trottle to keep dam things a runnin but not anymore???) but all yer doin is loading up the carb and not lookin as cool as you think you are. Now if there is a good lookin chica on the corner an yer tryin to get her attention, I'm all for it.
