"I have some time to reflect on the entire "buying a Road King experience" from your store. I've never written a letter quite like this, so I hope it comes across the right way.
Bill Thomas treated me like a special person, took time with me and answered my questions. He showed me the slightly used Police models. It was a perfect fit since my father was a motorcycle cop in Milwaukee for many years. He died in 1993, so this was meant to be; I feel like I've "come home."
The best part was when I checked my e-mail one day and Bill took some pictures of my bike and sent them to me. I was blown away. He told me that my Dad would be proud. Bill Thomas is a genuinely special salesman and I wanted you to know that."

QUESTION What is the difference between a Softail standard and a Softail duece.
C. Hurricane, West Virginia
ANSWER They are essentially the same motorcycle. The frame, powerplant, drivetrain, rear suspension are exactly the same. The Standard is like a freshly primed canvas wating the creation of someone's masterpiece. The Deuce on the other hand has some "factory custom" goodies already installed stretched tank, 17" rear wheel, chopped rear fender, chrome lower legs are just a few. So if you are looking to start from a clean slate and go crazy customizing, go for the Standard, but if you like looks of the Deuce's custom touches go for the Deuce!
